Boris Burdaev is best known as a former front man and songmaker of the famous russian band Grim Brouthers (Братья Грим). About a year ago he formed a new band Lirrika to let us know just how he feels for real. After their first gig in Moscow, which took place at the club "16 tons" the band started recording their debut LP.
Their first single is named Lirika-Africa that take us to the lost coasts of Atlantis and their legendary inhabitants called Atlants whose voices (or maybe of their descendants) we can vaguely hear through the whole track.
"We've almost forgotten about magic," explains Boris, "Atlants and Lemurians did it perfectly well. This song is a humble request to remember a real man's nature".
If you don't care about theosophy you may take it for a short sketch written in the road movie style or a song about sex parties in your parents' bedroom. There's plenty here to enjoy.
